Tuning, where do i start? (SR20VE)
I got a Greddy Emanage on my SR20ve. I have N1 cams with Gspec adjustable cam gears, Thermo-spacers , Gspec pulleys, lighten flywheel, SR16VE ecu, Impul headers and a 3'' exhaust system. I'm switching both cams in @ 4600. How do i know what is the best A/F and ignition for my set up?

What base ECU are you running?

Usually NA engines will make best power between 12.5-13. Without a dyno it's hard know for sure, thus try to shoot for 12.8 AFR.

As for timing, this will vary, I ran around 32* up top, but I would scale it down a bit with N1 cams, do something like 28* up top. Also check out this thread for timing map examples.

ya 32/33 degs above 5K sounds good and use 34 on the last cell to hold the power a tad more at redline

Great! so do you guys think i should get something like a knock ears from haltech or are there other alternative devices on the market? Does anyone have a screen shot of there timing map for a NA tune? I only seem to be getting for boosted set up. The NA tunes i'm seeing are bins, How do i go about opening one of these bin files?

I second this as a former e-manage user.

although....

I still use the emanage to flip the cams, and log injector duty cycle but thats its only use.

You do know you can do both of those with NismoTronic? You can sell your emanage after that and get some money back
