Back when I decided on my AEM, I knew no one around would know calum or nistune... so AEM was the best option.
It is true, most tuners wont be familiar with NismoTronic software, but what Dave and John did is design it to be very similar to other tunable ECU's, thus anyone that has tuned a MAPed or MAFed car will be able to figure it out.
Still a universal ECU will be easier for a local tuner, but if you don't have a local tuner, NismoTronic might be easier to learn yourself. Plus John is active on our forums and offers remote tuning options.
