wiring s13 det ecu on my b14 for 20v cas and cop
im not sure this is the place to post this, but here we go!!

the car: 98 200sx ser

what im trying to do is wire in a s13 det ecu with nemu on it to run the car with the 20v cas and coils. ive just went through the two pin outs and made my "move and add list"

if anyone has done this please feel free to fill me in:

keep in mind the car currently ran on a basic ecu with a b14>b13 stepdown harness.

so far i have:

-move pin 2 to pin 3= tach output

-add wire to pin 2 for coil #2

-remove and add wire to pin 8 for coil 3

-move pin 9 to 10 fan relay

-add wire to pin 9 for coil4

-move pin 10 to 11 fan high speed

-move pin 11 to pin 106 a/c relay.

i dont have the nemu/ecu here yet to test but hopfully someone on here has an idea of what im doing and can chime in.

pin 10-11 are empty from stock. and im just hoping they will fire the required things since the s13 doesnt have a ecu controlled fan

im hopeing to have this thing running and tuned for the convention..lol wish me luck 24 days eeeeeeekkkkk

These are all good.

Connect pin 9 (from radiator fan) to pin 111 (stock boost solenoid output) on the ECU and program that for your cooling fan.
Pin 10 (fan high speed) is only on automatic equipped cars.

No, I haven't, but I'll do what I can to help you blaze the trail.

Since the radiator fan circuit already has a relay, you should be able to use the high EGT light output on pin 25 for the fan, leaving AIV solenoid and WG solenoid outputs (pins 102 and 111) for VVL activation if needed.

i do need vvl activation.

maybe im reading stuff wrong on the nismotronic but thought the vvl was activated through the breakout box? either way is fine with me. just want to make sure i can get my aem wideband 0-5v input into the ecu somehow and activate the vvl.

The break out box is for connecting 0-5V analog inputs (wide bands, MAP sensors, etc.).

ok cool. im swapping pins right now so well see how it goes

i set aside pin 102 for vvl. this wire is to activate the relay for vvl correct? im sure the ecu doesnt have enuf umph to fire both of those silinoids at the same time? correct me if im wrong

If you are running both solenoids off of 1 port i would use a relay just to be safe.
