DET CAN, anyone made or used one?
I am in the quest to tune as much as i can before going to the dyno so i can really focus and get things dialed in. I was doing some reading and searching and the only thing i found to help with tuning the timing was a det can.

I found this thread here for more details.
DIY Stethoscope Det Can - D-series.org

Any thoughts? Has anyone used one?

These are good theorectically for street tuning. But there are so many other noise's in your engine bay why would u want to chance it. If u want max hp out of your setup it's Dyno tuning or nothing at all.

I will always go to they dyno for the final tune, but this would be nice to make sure you are not knocking before. Also the less time you have to spend on the dyno the better, or you can focus on other things.
