Thread: How to get base bin from standard ecu to file with free software?

well, the topic says pretty much all of it. Been trying to search but im terrible at it as i found out... so little help would be great at this point :nonchalance:

If I remember correctly, you can do it through the consult. I cannot remember which program, maybe emutility? It has been a while since I messed with that stuff.

Nissan Data Scan lets you download the stock bin via consult cable.

You can also use Calumsult which is free. Might be hard to find a good link though. I've herd Nissan Datascan drops connection a lot while extracting the bin.

yea calumsult had the most robust rom download, IIRC calum had said the ROM DL in ver 0.8 was the most stable. NDS was flaky with a lot of ECU's, haven't tried the latest version though, I had used ver 1.51.

you can also use nistune. I think the unregistered version allows you to download the ROM.
