Thread: Calum Chip Install

Need help with installing a chip in my calum basic. Never done it before so I don't want to start taking things apart when I don't know where to begin. Here's a few pics of what I have laying out in front of me. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're just changing chips, then there's nothing to it.

Just make sure that you're placing the chips in the correct way.

They have a half circle next to the SST logo, that goes the right, where the "locks" for the chips is.

On the other side of that board are 2 chips, take one out, noting the orientation of the notch, and replace it with the new one, repeat for the second chip.
