I think you're right, Vadim. I'm just guessing, trial and error kind of thing.
I did finally get it to start with lynch's 2nd bin. Latency at 1.5ms and k value at 40k. Started to give it more fuel under a load and decided to stop and wait since I don't have a BOV. It wanted to spool lol. Still need to work on getting it to start cold. I don't know what the deal is with it being cold. I have to make it dump fuel for it to do anything, and if you touch the throttle it dies. Warm is a different story though. It will rev and is driveable.
Edit: So I read most of that write up, and most of it went way over my head. Helped me understand what some of the values mean and how they are interpreted, but it doesn't really help me adjust them properly. I think I am going to ditch the Calum ECU. The more I think about it, the more I think the Nismotronic NEMU would be a lot easier for a beginner like me. Where most of the values are simplified for dummies like me attempting to tune their potential 400+hp monsters. I feel like the Calum is going to get me nowhere really fast since there isn't any good software for it and I don't exactly have access to Nistune. If I sold the Calum, I could get about $350, then add $200 and I can buy a really nice ECU that will later offer MAP support. Why wouldn't I upgrade while the NEMU is reasonably priced?
