Calum RT for B13 Fans not coming on
I installed the Calum RT with a tune that I found on here for my SR20DE. For some reason my fans will not turn on. I read a couple posts stating something about the coolant sensor that needs to be replaced with a SR20DET sensor. I haven't found much on this and need some guidance.

I also want to know how to adjust the temperature threshold so that the fans kick on at a lower temp.

use nissan data scan or something to test the fans, you can force them on.

as for adjusting the turn on/off points.. thats going to require tunercode.

Ok, no problem. I can get that done. I can download that or my buddy has it on his laptop.

Dont i have to have the Nismo Tronic ECU so this software wont work with my ECU correct? I would have to get a new ECU?

^ Tunercode works with both Calum and Nismotronic ECUs.

I am not sure on that one. The best way to find out details on availability would be to contact Mr. Tunercode himself, Dave Dunn (forum member dfddfd2).

Yes, you can use Nistune tuning software with the Calum RT ECUs (or TunerPro RT), but I think you might still need Tunercode Firmware to control the fans.

Maybe somebody else has some input on this?

Yes you need Tunercode to control the temp that you want the fans to engage, at least on the Calum RT. Both of my RTs are set at 195 degrees on both the VE B13s. Unsure if Nistune works with Calum RT ecus, have yet to see an example on the forums. Maybe someone who has one can confirm Nistune does work with the Calum.

What I am referring to is the interchangability of the .bin files. Both Calum and Nistune use bin files and you can use the Nistune tuning software to tune/modify the bin for a Calum ECU. The same as you would do with TunerPro RT.

I wasn't sure if somehow the Nistune software would allow you to change fan temp. settings but it makes sense that Tunercode firmware would still be needed regardless of tuning software.

We're now on the same page. That's what I thought you meant. You are correct about Tunercode though.
