Thread: Losing TPS?

Trying to figure out my car. It breaks up from 7300-7500. AEM EMS series 2 dialed in on the rich side. AFR's will be 11-12 throughout all the way to 9,600rpm's except where it breaks up it will shoot lean.

I have some data logs if anyone is curious and wants to look over. Duty cycle will spike from 50% or so to 100%. It shoulds throttle at 30% as well. Does not make sense.

Tried mating the ecu grounds with a ground from the chassis. Also regrounded the TPS. Car felt good earlier and thought it was fixed but sure enough tonight during some "testing", it broke up again.

Bad TPS?

is it only doing it with 100% throttle?
try partial peda up to and pass the break up point to see if it does it

Not sure what caused it. Re did wiring all over the car and took it out for a spin and it pulled hard and clear all the way throughout!
