aem uego not in sync with aem ems. need some help
so i am trying to get my aem uego in sync with my aem ems to use the o2 feedback.

the problem i am running into is. the wideband sensor is showing the correct air fuel ratios that i am trying to target only the gauge is showing a completely different number.

i went and synced the sensor with the aem and the gauge says 14.7 so i set the gain till the aem ems also reads 14.7 but see the problem is even after that the gauge is still not reading correctly but the aem is reading the correct afrs

what is going on or what am i doing wrong

PM coach or Ben Fenner one of them helped me dial mine in when it was acting up and fyi they are never in sync lol.

yes i imagine the sensor is good becuase when looking at my laptop and my o2 feedback is set at say 14.7arfs the o2 #1 sensor hovers around the target afrs so i believe it is good

also i have grounded the aem uego to the chassis

Stupid question but did you select the correct wideband under the setup wizard? Mine was right on point once I set it up to the digital gauge.

If you have an external gauge wired into the AEM, then the GAUGE is showing correctly and the AEM is showing incorrectly.

The AEM is getting the signal FROM the UEGO, not the other way around.

Follow these steps to set it up properly.

1) Select your wideband in the EMS wizard.
2) Unplug the wideband sensor so the UEGO displays 14.7 with key on
3) Adjust the gain in the EMS software until the AFR in the software matches 14.7 on the gauge.
4) Plug wideband sensor back in.

If the values still do not match, double check your UEGO ground point. If all else fails, move your ground point so it goes to the intake manifold ground (ECU sensor ground) and try again.

Yep, need to select the correct wideband in the o2 wizard and if necessary do like JK said and adjust the gain till your ems matches what the wideband is reading when unplugged which again will be 14.7:1

i did the gain setting and its still off.

if the aem ems isnt reading correctly then why is the o2 #1 trying to target the o2 #1 feedback target......if the target is 15arfs the o2 sensor/aem is reading 15afrs or around there trying to target that number. while the gauge is reading 13.8 or something like that. the aem ems is getting the 0-5v wire so its reading out the voltages from the sensor not the gauge something is off somewhere

my aem is setup as a AEM (GAUGE) this is correct no?

i guess i will reground the wideband controller to intake manifold where exactly is the ground for the ecu on the intake manifold?

you dont have an external controller?
Is your EMS the one with built-in UEGO?
