id like to know more about how the pickup delay works with controlling timing drift.... When should you increase it vs decrease it....

You adjust pickup delay in the event of timing drift. If you have someone verifying timing with a light and you rev the motor and hold at different RPM you can sometimes see timing drift between AEM EMS and the timing light. This is caused by latency in the electrical system or ignition coils and the pickup delay table can remedy this at different RPM points.

I know what the drift is, Im asking how does increasing it, versus decreasing the number affect it.
