One thing I notice between t3 and t28 is torque. T28 got more torque than t3. That's tire roasting, smoky burnout and sliding torque. No wonder t3 zilvia people switch to t28.
lol, im sorry, a T3 will out torque a t2 any day if sized properly for what you want.
My 60 trim t3 would hit full 30lbs of boost by 4200 rpm, on 24psi it made 461whp and 391wtq. I dont know what the torque was on 30 lbs but id have to say the hp was between 530-550 and torque probably in the 475 range. All i know is any gear besides 5th, the tires would go up in smoke come 4500 rpm.
The only difference between the two is the t28's torque will come a bit sooner in the powerband.
But overall t3 will make more power, more torque, and for most fwd guys with weak b13/b14/b15/p11 trannies, moving the torque later in the powerband and more gradual will help prolong the life of the gears.
