Stuff like this is what I was asking you about before. Only thing with mine is that I still have to go lower because of the nitrous lol.

Only way to figure out the best timing is to put on the dyno. Start conservative and slowly add timing until you don't see any torque gain. Otherwise it's all guessing.

You need some more work on your timing map. Column 56-76 should be equal or more than 80-84. Higher loads require less timing. Base on your timing map, at 3/4 throttle you have less timing than at 100 % full throttle.

or log the TP values.... u wont get "torque" numbers but ull get the graphs shape.

use the MAF logs for your "hp" curve.

5speed- Most of the map is a stock de map with a few deg added and different WOT colums.

I always wondered why the end of the stock map had the timing go lower like that. I will keep the timing going as you stated.

The timing map you have is not based off of the stock B13 timing map. The problem with all the bin sharing is people are making changes to the stock map and are not relabeling them after the changes. So want you think is a stock map is actually somebody else map with changes.

If you look at the your map at 1150-2800rpm and 16-44tp, you will see it has a lot of timing, a lot more than stock for sure, too much if you ask me. The engine might seem to be responsive and snappy off throttle and cruising around town but you going to get a lot of pinging on a hot day. Your high load full throttle timing around the same rpm is good and conservative.

5speed,

The last map i posted is from a supplied tunercode stock rom. The map is advanced 3 deg across the whole map and then the last two columns are totally changed. Not sure what a stock maps your talking about.

Anyone care to post up your n/a de timing map?

The biggest problem I see with your timing map is that is shouldn't have the HUGE shifts in timing before the last two columns, it should be a smooth transition to those values.

For example, it shouldn't go from 18 -> 31 from 1 column to the other!

If you want.. I can send you over a dyno tune Stock DE timing map for you to compare to.

What you got is not the factory timing map for the B13. There are a lot of bins out there labeled as factory but they're not.

If you go to the old forum under the section called Calumsult, you will have a lot B13 bins to compare. You want to look for a bin labeled 91nx2000.bin It's the totally stock unmolested factory bin.

Your second option is get someone with Nissandatascan with a stock ecu do a snapshot of the timing map for you.
