Do the Inputs have to be enabled? When we enabled the "Enable Analog 0 Input" the car would not rev over 3K. Are the inputs in the "Data List View"? Or somewhere else?

Also do i need a voltage divider to bring it down to 0-2.5V? The schematic shows 5v supply on the OP amp so it should handle a 0-5V input correct?

When i enabled Analog 0 input the reading went right to 255 which i assume is railed. I made a voltage divider and it still would not show anything other than 255.

I also found you can program the output of the MTX-L to go from 0-2.5v instead of 0-5v. We did not have time to test this but this should work.

Any idea on what i am doing wrong?

The RTv2 analog inputs are 0-5V, so you don't need a divider. Are you sure you have the latest B13RTOpen.hex file uploaded to the RTv2 with Colt Bootloader?

I think so. The ECU had the V1 firmware installed to get the car running awhile ago. Before we started messing around with it i flashed the new hex on. But, it will not load automatically, i had to pulse the MCLR low in order for the ECU to start accepting the programming.

From Calums site:

If you've uploaded a firmware that bricks your RT board…

If you've managed yo brick your board (i.e. written some code that never responds to serial commands) you've got two options- either manually reset the board while the Colt loader is trying to connect, or use a hardware programming tool like the ICD2.

To manually reset the board first remove the cover. Next, find JX as show below.

There is no Jumper that i could find, i tried resetting it with an ICD2 but it still would not load the firmware automatically. So i pulsed the MCLR line low and it went through the install. It still will not load automatically with the Colt Bootloader.

Do you think it did not take? I also can not change the RPM scale on the Fuel or Timing maps as i should be able to, it caps them at 7000.

I really don't know about the RTv2 and have no idea how to reach Calum.

You can edit the RPM scale definitions in the XDF and increase the upper limit next to the "Use High Range" check box.
