Thread: Which Fuel management do you have?

I had an AEM EMS in my 240 (which i sorely miss)

Current ones are:

B14 Calum Rom
B14 JWT
B13 Calum Rom

AEM 1600 ems
AEM UEGO WB
GM 2bar map sensor
GM AIT sensor

i cant wait to get my boost solenoid so i can adjust and manage boost pressures via laptop..its like the key part of the engine anagment system im missing

AEM. If you can find someone who knows them well, you can get a fantastic tune out of it.

Apexi PowerFC at the moment but will shortly be moving to Haltech.

I'm with yah on enjoying the functionality of a full fledged stand-alone, but I can honestly say aside from the massive learning opportunity, I would rather deal with a JWT or now that I know what I'm doing, a Calum ECU.... I just don't enjoy re-inventing the wheel. My car had great idle, cold start, etc. out of the box. Now I've had to spend months getting all that figured out... It's just tiring. I'm not complaining. I'm having a blast. It's just sometimes less is more. =]

i totally agree with you. something that is truly plug and play is 100% nice.... the AEM ems is plug and play yes in a sense that you plug it in, but then everything pretty much needs to be calibrated or configured to specs... which is definitly something a jwt ecu doesnt really need.

+ aem goes a step nehyond when you need to wire up extra sensors. so someone woh isnt electrical friendly might get themselves in a costly wire battle lol
