I'm almost positive I'm the first person with VEMS in a FWD SR20, and still the only. I'm not surprised you didn't find any info. =]

I've dealt with VEMS and AEM... I prefer VEMS by a large margin. The problem is, installation isn't nearly as simple...

Once it's in though, the software interface and tuning options (while a bit less versatile compared to AEM) is simple and easy to use. I think AEM went overboard with the "tunabilitiy" of some options, adding to the complication needlessly. Acceleration enrichment has 5 scaling variables to it... Nuts.

Logging and tuning on a daily basis is very easy, quick and enjoyable on VEMS. I've got it in my daily, and in a friend's project car. I dunno... If you're okay with creating a new wiring harness, or can make sense of the factory one like I did, it's worth a shot.
I also like it's LCD display that I've mounted. It shows me all relevant data, eliminating the clutter and cost of of 5+ gauges. I guess I could go on, but you get the point.

Most of the cars I do/have done all use a calum with an n60 and 42# injectors. I will tune the cars with a real time, then swap the program over to the basic calum box. Its clean and affordable.

I have a jwt ecu, and safc. I wouldn't say it the best by any means its just what my car had when I bought it. on the positive note the car just passed PA emissions with flying colors
