load the bin ecu on b13 basic / calum basic
Hello everyone!

Just want to know of what particular software I can see the bin from the basic b13 / calum basic ecu?

I do have ecu talk consult cable..

You will need a Moates burner to read/write to the chips. You can read the bin, modify and reburn the modified bin back on the chip. The chips need to be removed to do this.

oh i see so I need moates burner before i can read the bin..... i just thought that i could have it read directly from ecu to laptop using tunerpro....

how about the logging? is how can i read it too?

I think you need a realtime ecu to do all that guy

For basic ECU's you make a tune with TunerPro, then you burn it to a chip with moats burner then you physically install it.

Only two ways around it, get a dual ostrich setup or a real time ecu.

You can read the bin with any/most consult software. ECUTalk (free) reads bins FAST compared to something like calumsult (free) and datascan (not free).

logging you can do with consult programs too, but compared to other packages the amount of things you can log can be restrictive.

Onboard logging as provided by something like the NEMU Realtime is far more convenient than having a laptop sitting on the passenger seat though.

You still need laptop for nemu rt. Unless you can telephatecally communicate with the ecu.
