Here is the situation. I bought the car about 1 month ago. '99 P11 with W10 DET GT2871R - Z32 - STI 520 Injectors - NISTune OBD1 ECU with step-down harness - 6-Speed - Nismo FPR
The car runs okay, but not like it should. Always felt the timing was a little retarded. Car only getting about 27-28 MPG.
Adjusted the fuel pressure down to about 42PSI. Drove the car around the block, got into the boost a little and it fell on it face, like it blew the spark out or something.
Tried to put the car into timing mode so I could check the timing, connector was jacked-up on the TPS, couldn't get it to lock/clip back on. Went to pick and pull and installed another connector. Got the connector on and couldn't get the car restarted. Installed new plugs and it fired right up. Took it around the block and was spitting and sputtering. Tried to check the TPS and saw the 7.6V.... can't get it restarted, it tries but doesn't start.
