Good point. 1 of the many quirks I had was with the start-up wizard being there but not functional (it was greyed out on mine) I'll get one again eventually but for now I'll be rocking the old dinosaur but very trusty JWT and SAFC Neo combo until I have reached my limits. I'm using the Neo to activate my VVL too so lets see how that goes.

I agree with they could have just used a software upgrade for the 1 and 2 ...I love my AEM though , I have for WRX as well ...

this unit looks like a 120% improvement over the fueling logic that is currently in use by the AEM ems v1 and v2. it should making the tunning of a car alot easier (once you get used to the new software and new style) plus it should be a ton more accurate. i bet they stoped major upgrades for the v2 units do to spending more time on this .

The software for this is being done by a compltely different company than the ones that made AEMPro and AEMTuner. If you read through the aem thread they go over who its being done through. Its a huge improvement. And it has flex fuel capability for fuel, timing and boost all at the flip of a switch and/or a flex fuel sensor if im not mistaken. Very nice system for sure. Cant wait for it to come out.

Reminds me of HPTuners, which we use to tune the Local Vettes and LSX powered cars.

Wow, that is a LOT of money. I can't ever see going to that. The EMS1 is where I will hang my hat.

if they ever make one for the b13 i would buy it. just realize that the 1 when released was $2000. with some time they will come down .
