Thread: Sr20det problem-no low rpm power

So I have a sr20det from a s15, and when I first bought it it ran totally good had all power just great. The other day I was driving just fine then stopped at a light started going again then it started sputtering and backfiring like something went out on it. I have a new maf on it and pretty much ruled that out, I have bkr6e plugs messed with all gaping of them didnt do much, I have a new wastegate on it, I been through a lot. So The problem is it will bog out when under 4k rpms if I put it to the floor. But if I get it over 4k rpms it will go like no other all out good. Also I noticed that if I go hard on the car even for a little bit my headers will glow red, not good I know. So any suggestions would be cool, thanks.
