The first pic is self explanatory, as you can see in his board JP3 & JP4 are jumpered/closed/soldered, that = S13(B13) or the 20 x 2 header that groo can plainly see.

So you set the jumpers JP1 ~JP6 that u can see in the second pic lower left hand corner for whatever and use the appropriate header for the ecu type, so the NEWSR=JP1,JP5,JP6 or "new sr" is the JDM '97 + type ecus with the 20 + 30 header also used in (JDM)late S13 and S14

Only car type that I do not regognise there is LEG = JP4, JP1 (Late EG? couldnt work in a civic could it?) Dont recognise that nissan chassis suffix. if somebody knows post it up.

Thread dig, yeh i know, but i was searching around for info on this board and stumbled across this thread.

LEG = LEGACY BG5 for Subaru, as i'm sure you're aware this generation of ECU was very similar to the Subaru ECU (obviously built by same manufacturer with similar basic hardware (CPU) etc.).

Seeing as the M377-2 fits an S15 i'm wondering if jumpering an M377-1 for "NEW SR" would work on an S15 ... hrm.

Ah, subaru. Of course.

I believe that the late s13, s14 and S15 DET motors use the same board style using a 20 x 30 header with one offset hole. Its the N/A ecus are different.

So I think it will work on the S15DET if jumpered for new SR

S15 ecu uses the same type of daughter board as a sr20ve. Its quite a different ecu and i very much doubt if anyone would make a daughter board that could talk to both the early 90s style ecu and the later ones like a s15/sr20ve.

That is the S15 DE (naturally aspirated) not the S15DET blacktop with VTC.

you will notice that the Nistune type 4 board does S13(late) S14 and S15 ecu's (DET).
