I ran a long vacuum line from the charcoal canister provision through the firewall, to the MAP sensor that I have wired inside the cabin close to the ECU.
The temp sensor is almost completely hidden from view, so it is hard to find a pic of my engine bay that shows it.
Here you can see it on the bottom of the 90-degree bend right before the throttle body if you look closely.
You want to get the temp from as close to the throttle body as possible for accurate readings. For sure at least it needs to be on the cold side. =D
