Dashpot, decell fuel control
Looking for adress for dashpot controll. I found the adress of 06af that is labled as dashpot controll in the adress index but it does not show up on the b13 xdf file for tuner pro. Also looking for a way to controll when the injectors turn backon during decell. Basiclly looking for decell fuel shutoff. Does this controll exist? I am using a rather old xdf file so if there has been a new xdf update anyonw have it?

I am runing into issues with the car dieing on decell. Have tried all of the iac stuff and I believe the problem is related to the injectors turning off for decell and not comeing back on early enough. I can set my throttle angle to idle the car at 3K and still make it die on snaping the throttle closed. Wide band also shows a 22-1 afr on closed throttle decell. I just don't think the injectors are reopening early enough to catch the stall. Anyone got any input? Is there a decent theory of operation for the nissan pcm? Or at absolute least an index of what the tables control and what determines the table selection during operation? What determines open or closed loop control? What determines primary or secondary fuel map selection? Timing selection?

Is this when coming to a stop or on any decel condition? If it is when coming to a stop, then you need to have your idle take over sooner. That will keep the RPM up. What I mean is, if you have decel fuel setup to around 2100rpm, idle could take over at 2000rpm. Only issue is you don't want idle taking over to high or have to big a dead band in there or the car may get stuck in high idle. That is my experience with Haltech and AEM EMS software so far.

Yeah, I was playing with Haltech software and found much of it to be similar for setting this stuff up! My car is super clean now after fighting through much of these same issues.

On the B14/S14 ECU the decel exit rpm is set by two tables- E960 and E970. Values in these tables are rpm/25 (so set the conversion in the xdf to x*25). Keep the values of the table the same, or very close to each other (like stock). The x-axis for this table is the standard temp axis.

There is also a timing retard on decel exit function. To turn this off set E95D to 0. I'm not sure what its triggering against (load maybe?).

The equivalent B13/S13 tables are 0960 and 0970, but there doesn't seem to be a timing retard decel function. I still need to test the B13/S13 ecu function on the bench, I'll update when I do that and add this to the xdf.

So here's what the the decel rpm cutoff points are stock on a B13 (B14 is the same)-

I haven't worked out when the ecu is switching from one table to the other, but if you make the values the same in both tables it acts like a simple rpm switch point.
