Hi im wondering I have a Calum Basic ECU B14 my friend has a nitune type 4 meaning its OBDII.

I was wondering can i use his ECU to tune mine and the make the chips and install them on the calum?

Would it work?

One is a bin file and the other is an ent file. They are not directly interchangeable iirc.

Nistune can read bin files too. You should be able to interchange them.

The ent file is for the board like a config file. The bin is the same for the tune.

I want to use the nistune ecu you to tune my car once its done just burn the chips and install them in calum will that work?

I'm not tuning it a shop is but just want to make sure it will work before wasting my money

I have no idea if it's that easy to swap in a B14, In a B13 you could swap boards like that. The Nistune boards are useless without the software tho.

U don't need to convert them. The .ent is only used to program the nistune realtime board before it's installed into the ecu. After it's installed you use .bin files for the rom image.
