Crusing and WOT a/f mixtures
This is my ga16 sentra w/mods i am talking about with calum basic

Now i can command the ecu to run around 14.7 while crusing on the hwy with no problems but when i set the a/f to a richer mix like 13:1 it certainly picks up performance thats for sure. Im finding the sweet spot around 12:1 while crusing. Also verified by needing the least amount of vacuum to keep a constant hwy speed and this also gives my the highest peak TP. This is at 3,000rpm in 5th gear.. I dont know why it needs this much fuel to make good power? If i got back to 14.7:1 while crusing its so darn sluggish?

Well i think i have gotten somewhere. My timing was way too high in a couple tables.. (ga16 running a sr20 chipped ecu) It was something like the "timing advance" and "timing in gear"

I was having previous issues with detonation before. Im guessing when the timing is way to far advanced you need gross amounts of fuel 13:1 - 12:1 or richer to make any power crusing or while getting on it.

With the timing close to what it should be im back to making good power while crusing close to 14.7 and 13:1 while on it

good stuff! glad you figured out your issue. gettin better MPG, with better acceleration, always a win-win.
