Sooooo.....
Update, finaly got the proper o2 bung shipped in from Gspec, not to rub it in to some of the people on here as Ive read some horror story threads about removing the JDM small o2 bung from the mani. soaked mine in a product I use at work called "free" made by certified labs, put a 32mm socket on it and "poof" came right out! didnt even have to man up on it at all. Correct bung installed and im on my to autozone to get the 4 wire o2, will update later today.

Ok, new and correct o2 sensor installed Reset the ECU before starting car and took all the low throttle settings on the VAFC to 0 (it has always been set at 0 corrections on the high throttle tables)
Started car and got to operating temp. and its still ideling weird. If I just sit in the garage it will idle ok, but the AFR's are sitting at 19 or so at idle. I went ahead and took it for a short drive and above 12-13% throttle it runs aprox. a 14.5 AFR. pull up to a stop light and it goes up to 19 or so again and the idle starts to hunt again, also noticed as the idle is hunting and bouncing up and down from say 200-1200 rpm the AFR's are ranging from 18-21????
Went ahead and did a short 3rd gear WOT pull on the highway and the AFR's were at 11.5 or so which is what its always done.

I know some will say yank the VAFC out, which I do plan to do. But what else could cause the idle to bounce like this and to run so lean at idle, it appears that once I get above 12% throttle position it drops back to normal (14.5 or so) and gets richer and richer as I add more throttle.
Believe me I dont mind pulling the VAFC if this is in fact the problem, just seems weird that I'm running 0 corrections and its still idleing strange?!?!?!
Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

Just pulled the VAFC. Doing the same as mentioned in the previos post!

Any one have any ideas what would cause this?

I have previously cleaned the IACV and chkd. operation of it. Even made a block off plate for it and tried that, that didnt work to well. wouldnt idle at all then.

Also I dbl chkd the fuel psi and it is at 3 bar, I misspoke in an ealier post and said it was at 4 bar. The JWT ECU is set for 3 bar and that it where its running.

Like I stated above the AFR's at idle are the only thing I'm worried about, under normal cruising its good, and under WOT boost its good. Just the weirdness at idle??
