Windows 7 with tuning
Hey everyone, I'm getting a new computer and I need to know if windows 7 allows tuner pro to run on it? I'm use to xp so I know nothing about this stuff and my laptop crashed so I need to know if i'll be fine tuning with it. Any help appreciated.

goto Microsoft and download XP mode. it's free and you pretty much run XP inside 7. that's what I use on my M11x

I actually can open it and load the files, but as soon as I try to access any of the tables it crashes the program.

This is even in compatibility mode.

This worked for me.

I swear I tried that before and still had issues. I did just re-download the program, so that might have fixed it.

So as stated above, run in "administrator mode" and you should be fine.

I have been running tuner pro rt on windows 7 pro for a while now with no issues with running it in administrator mode. I had a few usb hiccups here and there but updating drivers fixed that...

Matter of fact is that most programs that run on Windows XP will run on Windows 7 as well, some of them just need this "run as administrator" thing. Ignore the compatibility mode.
