Apexi Power FC?
Was looking into standalone engine management systems and I noticed the Apexi Power FC.

Could that ECU be connected onto a N/A P11 SR20DE or SR20VE?

When buying the S14 SR20DET version with the harness and do some rewiring could it work? Not taking VVL into account here.

Rewire the pinouts to match and go tuning?

yes you can wire it to work its not that hard just time consuming if you know what your oding. you will also have to go to individual coils so a p12 valve cover with coils wouldnt be a bad idea

Hmm, why is that? In that case you also would have to do something to the distributor right?

An S13 SR20DET doesnt use individual coils so then it could work after rewiring?

leave the distributor ditch the cap and rotor, your only using the cas now, most nissan cas operate the same way whether 50mm disk 54mm disk distributor or coil on plug, they all send a signal to the ecu letting it know engine position, so it will work with your dizzy, you just wont need the cap and rotor and plug wires, but if you want a cleaner look a p12 cas isnt a bad idea.

So then you need this instead of the spark plug wires:

NISSAN PRIMERA P12 XTRAIL IGN COIL PACK 92ON +FREEPOST on eBay (end time 16-Dec-10 23:09:27 GMT)

How to wire it up? Any hints?

thats correct. if you are going to use an sr20det power fc your going to notice that you have 4x ign outputs rather than 1 like our standard ecu. each output is going to go to an ignitor (sr20det/q45) which is in turn going to go to the trigger side of each coil. each coil then gets 12v and a gnd plus the signal from the ignitor you will need the pin out for w.e car the power fc is for as well as the pinout for your car and possibly both harness or parts from one or the other
