new to tuning
hey

i just got my safc2 for my nx2000 and i was wondering if i tune it at 10lbs of boost would i have to retune it if i up the boost to 18lbs. also i have heard that having the in/out set to 5in and 5out is that the same for each car? also how would i go about street tuning my car? how would i know to go plus one or minus one?

you have alot of reading to do before you even should think about messing with a tune. first thing i would do is get a wideband afr gadge. best ~$250 you will ever spend.

Short answer: yes.

You need something to tell you the air/fuel ratio. Traditionally that is a wideband oxygen sensor attached to a wideband oxygen sensor controller and either logged on a computer or displayed on a gauge.

With a calum/Nistune ecu yes you have to retune each boost lvl. With say a AEM no you don't have to make new map you just tune using boost comp.
