See if you can see under the chip, be careful. Looks Nistune or Calum basic. Though I think Calum branded all of his chips.

Its a PLMS Daughter board from Australia, the 4 pin header on it is for the map switcher they used to make, but you can also use the jumper pins to switch maps. When burning a bin file to these, it needs to be 4 differnt tunes joined in Hexeditor, or one mulitlplied by 4 to make a 128k file.

You know where I can get a Hexeditor? I'm using This bin posted by oldman

Would I need to multiply it by 4 and burn it to both chips?

Evlnxr is 99% there, good work mate!

Hexworkshop is free and easy to use if you need to stack some roms (if you have larger chips and want to run multiple tunes).

Depending on the size of the chip used will depend how many tunes you can fit, but that board (with the right chip) can fit up to 4 tunes which can be switched on-the-fly (i.e while the car is running) using the jumpers (with switches) or a map switcher attached to the white header.

Both chips need to have the same data burned to them, that's correct.

If you are running only 1 tune, just burn it to the lowest offset (from 0000) and make sure that J1 and J2 have got no jumpers connected to them (so the board will look to map0 address).

What specific part# are the chips ?? SST27SF256? (1map, looking at the pic they look like 28, not 32 pin, so this is my guess) SF512? (2maps) SF010? (4maps)
