Thread: NDS Cant communicate with ECU

i leave that hexid stuff blank. if u say it is on COM4, and u are choosing com4, i have no idea why it will not work.

makes no sense to me givne the info u have told us.

Yeah, I was even thinking about ripping apart the interior to get to the ECU, and taking a look at it to get the numbers off and put it in manually, but I dont want to do something if I'm not 100% sure its going to work.

When I open up NDS, the Hex ID says "EF" and then theres another one (forget the name) that says "C9" and then Port speed is 9600. Should I delete the Hex ID and leave it blank? Maybe that will work.

I opened up ECUtalk and chose COM4 to connect, and even that failed? I'm guessing it's either the cable or software issues
