ka ecu vs sr20 fwd ecu???
Are they the same minus the tune? a kid has a jwt ecu for 300 for a ka-t and was wondering if it would work on my p10 with a different tune of course.

No, it won't....

They are totally different engines, why the fuck would it work?

Are you guys serious? the pin outs are the same and so is the connector. Even calum said they were the same boards, I just wanted to hear if anyone on here had done it.

The KA24DE JWT ECU will run the P10 bin, however the problem you might run into is input compatibility. For example, ECU pins 42 & 44 on the P10 ECU are connected to, and configured hardware wise, for the auto trans controller. On the KA24DE ECU, they are connected to the 4th gear switch and rear defogger, so may be different and therefore incompatible.

No one did it on here.

The connectors go to different sensors and the pins are in different locations.

Simply put, that is like saying a Lithium 123 battery and a AAA battery are the same "because they share the shame connector" i.e. A positive and negative side.

Calum quit on us so why even bring him up anymore. Maybe it was the peoples fault, maybe it was not. Either way, he left a large customer base empty handed and now the prices of his ECU's will stay high because they are "rare".
