I use 5 in and 5 out. I used that for three years with the stock MAF and I have used it for a month plus or minus a week with the95-99 Maxima MAF at 5 in and 5 out.

nice! I dont care if you use my thread to ask questions on. Check your connection from your rpm signal wire to your safc.

I tried it again last night and it reads, its on and off I'll check on the harness later to see whats going on.

Anyways the 5 in and 5 out is for 53J's correct? mine's still sputtering a bit at 3k rpm I set the throttle pt. 10 and 50... It went a bit better when I change the MAP into 500rpm increments starting with 1000.

Yes, I have my HW set at 5in and 5out. my low throttle is 25% and high is at 50%. I just left everything else alone. everything else is set at 0%. taking it to a shop in ashland Ky. I happen to run into a guy who is looking for a bullet resistant vest and I just happen to have 2 so we are doing a trade....a tune and a new BOV for one of my vests.


I ran my car for about 20 miles with everything at default settings and it did fine on the 5in and 5out. Also, check to make sure you have it set to 4cyl with the arrow pointing up. I forgot to do so and it sputtered and ran like shit and wouldnt read rpm's.

Found the culprit on the wiring and its a loose connection near the TPS. Anyways I tried setting my throttle but when its fully released it only reads 0.4V and reads 4.5v on gear WOT.

I have the throttle points at 8% - 38% it still sputters a bit, would you care posting some map points done by the guy who wants the vest?

yea ill post it up when i get it done....also a friend of mine just got his safc wired in his b14 and is running my cobra maf. What in and out do you use with a cobra maf?

man by throttle points you mean high throttle and low throttle, 8-38 is not a good idea. I had mine at 30-50 and it ran great...

I use 10 and 50 for hi/low settings. no adjustments are on the low throttle, only the high.

in the q45 maf I've read 1 in and 7 out not sure thou better have a wideband to make sure its ok.
