ok that makes more sense. i will check into it to see whats up

ok i went out and tried to adjust the o2 gain, the o2 wizard says to set it to 1.30 on the gain to obtain a 4volt +.2/-.2 but to match the wideabnd to the aem i have to set the gain to .89 is this right? if i set it at that to match the aem is that right?

There's a few things you could do to see which reading is correct, but it is best to trust the PLX gauge and make the AEM read the same (not the other way around).

That's the bet you're going to be able to do I think without truly calibrating the device.

do i truly calibrate the device with the aem software?

o2 fb rich limit 19.92%
o2 fv lean limit -19.92%

you should keep these numbers a little lower. like 10 percent. This gives the ecu more correction factor so it can be rich or lean. If the tune is spot on you should see the fb be in the - or +5% area. You should calibrate before you start tuning.

The calibration of the wideband sensor is going to be in the documentation of the PLX controller. It will have nothing to do with the AEM EMS.

from what ive gathered online the pllx doesnt need calibration, but you can use the aem software to adjust the gain so the aem ems reads the same as the widebandgauge is this correct
