sr16ve maf... is it worth it for a DET settup?
like the tittle.

i have a sr20det at 12psi and i'm about to send my ecu to get it chip, but also there's a friend of mine selling me a sr16ve maf. so i can throw away my stock DE maf. so i'm asking those that have tried with a 16ve maf for turbo aplicattion, if is worth the unit for tunning and if they dont get damage easly with the preasure (boost psi)???

my engine internally is stock. only have:
actual part's
.fpr
.10mm OML spark plug cables,oil catch can,4 spuck's clutch,clutch net pp
,stock sr20de maf.,apex afc,stock sr20de ecu(about to upgrade it)
.stock DET manifold,t25,w/g,down pipe,with 2 1/2 cut of valve(just for emergency )

that's pretty much it but im goin to buy this week:

.intercooler + pipping
.better fpr
.aftermarket waste gate(haven't chose one yet)
.boost controller
.another maf, looking for n60,z32,sr16 or any one that hold's well with every day driving plus my friendly gas pedal and right foot. .

what kind of advise can u tunners can give me or options.??? il'l be glad to know thing's before i could waste money....on my grey turttle

Why a wastegate and boost controller? Seems to me like you could just get the one. How are you at 12psi now that's several psi over stock.

According to;

SR20VE, Pathfinder 00-04 V6, Xterra 00-04 V6, Frontier 00-04 V6, Quest V6 Part # AFH70-16
325 WHP-----------70mm

16VE/20VE is the same MAF right?
I run the N60 which is similar but older and cheaper. It also seems to me like you need to think and research more. Your list of parts won't net you more power really
