I have 12 stock coils, if they ever fail ill have spares.

Don't really want to change the coils unless there's a better option that bolts into the P12/T30 rocker cover. I still want to have the stock looking setup.

01 - 08 GSXR 1000 COIL PACKS ,denso 129700-4400 ,are the same, from on 09 up are diferant part number, but may still fit? .

I haven't tried? I think I run 1.1mm (stock NA) gap on my plugs right now? I don't remember, but it isn't much boost anyway. Sorry I'm not more helpful. I would imagine you could get away with a bit more gap than normal. Stands to reason.

anyone besides me running k20 / honda coils? i'm having a problem with them getting hot and dieing after 30 minutes of continuous use.

I have both of.them but k20 ones looks better
