I would be interested in the plug-n-play. I know the newer iacv on the rr is a little tougher to get working, but other than that it should be pretty much the same. I would think you should be able to implement the same features as calum right? Would you be able to implement a boost by gear setup (does the ecu know what gear the car is in)? Would it be a problem if I bought it for a RR and then swapped engines? I would imagine that would just be a code change right? I should read up a little on megasquirt.

I have purchased a p10 ecu with the plan to have calum mod it, but with calum being so busy this seems like a good alternative. I am in no rush though, so depending on the price I can't imagine laying down the money for this until at least summer.

How is that going? still a great decision. It will be interesting to see how this Mega Squirt option works out.

We can set them up 12x12 or 16x16.

Honestly we've run both set-ups and always think, why did we go 16x16? Sometimes it's just for bragging rights, and its more work. But then again we generally build our cars to have very smooth power curves where extra resolution isn't necessary

But the choice is yours!

I have a few questions
If you could pm me as I am not fully versed on this setup but I would like to learn more (and not get flamed for knowing next to nothing)

on a 16X16 I run out of room mapping to 9-9500rpm so I have to make bigger jumps than I'd like too.

I'm interested in one for the 240SX. I actually have a PNP already for my miata and I like the capabilities/features that it offers.

When we settle on a price, we'll let you know. Don't you worry. Right now the goal is somewhere between a Calum RT and AEM EMS.
