Thread: New PnP Solution

You guys can build your own megasquirts just to add that in. I don't know how many people are up for that but its an option. MS-III is supposed to step up to a 16X16 format.

If I buy an additional feature in a custom ecu, what is the situation with adding more features later? I'd like to start with launch and maybe boost control, but unsure of others.

I'm thinking what I'm seeing hear is making up my mind on which ecu direction to go with. There's a chance I won't be able to get a RT V2 by the time I need it and for some reason(longer time to soak it in maybe??) I'm understanding this better than trying to follow Calum's info. Thank you Dan.

If you want me to add additional features, its parts plus labor, both of which are cheap.

Sounds great sir. I can see launch, boost and alcohol are prob going to be needed anyway. Can you help me understand how/why/what staged injectors would help? Like what situations?

Its mainly when a) you have big nasty injectors that have poor idle resolution, so you want to run some smaller ones at idle/cruise or b) you make a crap ton of power and you need 8 injectors to supply your fueling needs.

So, are you guys building this from the DIYPnPs or using a normal v3 board?

I've got 2 extra boxes (MS-I v3 from a 280zt, and an MS-II v3 from my Miata). Can I send one of these in to be modded to run on the sentra (Avenir DET swap)? Or is it just a custom harness?

Either way I want to use one of these boxes in my B13.

Actually, it looks like DIYAutoTune is going to be releasing a new PnP MS system. If this is true, I'm not going to bother as I believe they are going to be using a nice PCB adapter and have a better enclosure. I will keep everyone updated as news is released.

Anything updated? I'm looking for one and would like Boost control, launch control, and wideband logging.

I am once again interested, in one of these I just need to figure out my setup. With Calum out of the game it looks like this is going to be a better option for most of us!
