been using my nistune type 4 for a few weeks now & i love it....only issue i have is using the 200sx OBD2 1996 .adr files, its asking for USB drivers for my consult... i use the serial blatz cable, i brought it to matts attn, & hes working on it.....

if i load the 95 adr files, all works fine,,,,i think its somehitnng the way the ODB2 adr file is coded

thats tight dude nistune rocks.. they're still pretty new but atleast matt is responsive an it doesnt take him months to responde to a important question or problem lol.. plus anyone can get an ecu at any time.. no special list or time frames or anything.. just go through the auto vaughn site an its gravy

Nistune is got to give B14 OBDII ECUs some love! I regret not having sent my chipped B14 ECU to them for investigation 2 yrs ago.

Just digging this back up, I can't seem to get the 'compared' Bin to transfer to ECU.

Once I've done all as you describe, and burned to Rom the Fuel values are all 14.7 AF, every single value and the whole timing table is 0, same with all other parameters...just nothing.

Is there anything else you do once you've burned to ROM? As when I g to close Nistune it asks if I wan't to save?

I'll get some screnshots tomorrow if that helps.

I have my old SR20DE tune on there at the moment, from when Matt had the ECU. Now I need a VE one. I'm trying to use one of the Bins from in your Nistune forum thread. What do you mean load normally? Will it read from the compared values once you hit the Burn button?

Thanks

Warning, those bins are not tested yet, i was jus posting them so bluerb240 could look over them.. im sure they'll work tho an if i were you i'd try the v3 bin..

the tunes are set for the stock b13 sr20de maf just so you know..

ok so do this..

plug the laptop into the car
turn key to on position
open nistune, check to make sure the com port is correct
goto File>Open Address file. then choose the correct adr file for you..
click the connect button
load the Main map, choose whatever bin you want to run.
Press F8 and a thing will pop up, you want to tell it to transfer the current selected bla bla to the ECU
Start the car

if you do it just as i said it should work fine

Just download that albert.bin I posted or if I didn't let me know and I'll post it on the nistune forum so you can download it. Might have to change your maf and adjust the A/F after you do so but the ignition map is tuned.

Thanks for that, I tried the alfred bin with this method and it loads ok....but all the values are nothing and the car won't start. I'm wondering if it's to do with me using an N15 address file, and trying to load a B13 bin?

I haven't seen a Albert.bin, I've downloaded a Alfred.bin....if you could post it on there that would be great.

Cheers
