The RTv2 is a hardware daughter board. It's actually the TunerCode firmware (bin) that allows tuning and rev limits above 8k rpm. It doesn't depend on the RTv2 to support the higher RPM.

lol, ok so what im saying is: the nistune isnt "tunable" past 8012.5 correct? while nistune Could implement the tunercode stuff, they havent but hopefully some kind of agreement can be made or something.. that would be awesome! so, the rtv2s with tunercode can be "tunable" past 8012.5 Correct?

i didnt actually mean the engine wouldnt turn past 8k lol sry for the confusion..

dave, if a person were to pay you, and or nistune, would it be possible to get the tunercode stuff on the nistune ecu? or?

Really? Who got Calum V2 here? How long we were waiting? And how much it took to get it?

You can have Nistune in one week...

Im not bashing Calum, but Nistune is just better, faster, cheaper.

You said calum doesn't tune past 8k... that is wrong. search on it.

I agree with you on having Nistune in a week. I got mine in a week. You can't say Calum is better, or cheaper. Calum has a great software and can do A LOT more things that Nistune can. Calum is cheaper IMO because he provides the ecu, usb cable, software for 350. I bought my Nistune board for 265, bought a ecutalk cable for 75 and I didn't buy the software (which is around 200) but I have a local tuner.

I love my Nistune and I went with it because I knew I could get it in a week.
