Yes you should. Are you turbo or n/a?

Yes and also yes to changing the ignition map tp scale to match the fuel.

So lets say at wot you are hitting the 45 tp column. Make the 45 column your last high load/furthest to the right column and start blending or interpolate the rest.

Remember, the scale is effected by the k-value: high k-value shift the scale to the right, low k-value to left.

that worked great thanks guys. I am NA. The only real issue i have left before i get some real dyno time is to get the idle close. I am running a custom intake mani so no IACV. I am currently running a modified frankie.bin @ 4bar and n62 maf. the car pulls very had and runs a/f's in the 14s up to about 5k then richens up to about 13. but it is leaning out at idle 17ish so the idle is climbing from ~2k to a totally obnoxious 3k. I am trying to add fuel in the first 2 load columns under 3k rpm. When i look at the raw values I am already at 255 (maxxed out) but injector duty cycle is only at 3% @2800rpm... I am assuming there is something else that needs to be rescaled?

Thanks again

Any good VE/nistune shops in the tristate area for a real tune?

Now you need to up the latency for the idle and low tp. The latency dominates the low pulse width part of the map.

For the high idle, just turn down the throttle stop on the throttle body.

Personally, I would run a remote idle controller. It helps a cold running engine, sudden decel, and general driveability. You are more likely stall the engine without it.

Nistune what's wrong with?
Well for starters they don't even list anything for the B14 on the website, that would be good to know what's available.

Just my .02

You need to look again Newbie, try the type 4 board.

Right, but the listing doesn't show the B14 that was my point...

um you do know that the 94-up P10 ecus work in the B14's right? They use the type 4 board and that's what i'm running.

Cool, i still had some manual adjustment left in the TB so RPMs are under control now. As for latency, I raised the uS from 600 to 700 saw no real enrichment... i went up to 800uS and still nothing to speak of it is still hitting A/Fs in the 17-20 range. I didnt want to go too much further as that was already a 25% increase and i was afraid to screw up the fact that the car runs like a champ everywhere but idle.

Is there a way i can upload my .bin here for you all to look over?

Thanks in advance

The latency change should help. If not, check for a vacumn leak.

Are you running a pvc setup? Any vacumn leak from the valvecover will cause a lean idle.
