There is an entry at E5CA called "Speed Limit 3", but that is an error. It's actually a zero speed rev limit, so should be renamed. You would need to add an entry at E5CC so you can set it to 0 to enable the rev limit.

I used the bin he posted somewhere and copied my maps, Calum said however there were some issues with Closed Loop, I cant notice. Kept waiting for him to update the code to correct this, but never read anything else about the B14LC again from him.

so you have lc on your car? But you're not sure about the closed loop issue? Wouldn't mind sharing the file would you? I'm not really worried about closed loop at the moment...the car only has to go a quarter mile.

I looked at Calum's B14 LC code and the problem is with the timing. ie: don't use it!

Yeah I heard it doesn't retard it right or something. I wish he would fix it :/

Oh and Vadim found a 550 tune if you wanna try it out on the sti's just change the latencey. Or I can send you those chips this weekend that I got from Erick.

The problem is that when the speed gets above the LC speed set point (default 10 kph), the timing doesn't change, ie: the timing map lookup is skipped. Launch control with speed limit, rev limit, and rev hysteresis, will be a feature in the TunerCode firmware.

How can you tune from 370s to 550s by changing only the latency?

Cheers,

no no. I have a 550 tune, but the latency is not the sti latency so to get a decent tune adjust it and it could be alright I'm guessing. It's .70 and sti's are .75

Ah, I see. Do you know what was changed for the 550s?

latency, k value, injector size what i mainly noticed.

Now This whole rom_label thing. They should all be the same for the same car right? Because it seems like all these sti tunes and this tune have different rom_labels then the 370's tunes.
