That said, I think (not sure) running a MAP sensor (instead of MAF) is a future possiblilty with the Tuner Code RTV2 stuff, but I'll let Dave speak to that.

MAP would be great, only problem i've ever really had with this motor is caused by the MAF.

Nah, like they had just admonished me, Im doing it wrong with the BOV. However, if a MAP could be used it would meter after the BOV, same as blow-through.

I also discovered its leaking idiotically all around the BOV flange, so I will replace that flange, seal all leaks and see. Its not stalling, exhaust makes a bang! when BOV releases and its horribly rich. For all I know its the leak.

Im eager to test that TunerCode of yours anyway, Im tired of the limitations of the B14 Calum RT ECU, B13 guys have it all! I could even do way more with the E-Manage Ultimate Piggy Back...

Actually the limitations have nothing to do with the B14 Calum RT ECU. That's a stock B14 ECU with a Calum RT daughter board running stock firmware. The limitations are mainly with the definition (XDF) files used to tune the ECU. I'm almost finished developing the B13 firmware and XDF. I'm also working on the B14 code to develop an XDF for it that will be included with the B14 version of the TunerCode firmware.

Glad to hear you're willing to give it a try. I'm pretty sure you'll like it!

Thanks,
Dave

To this day?

Or have you called it quits like Calum did?

I had pretty much written it off. Should have been ready in a 6 month period I would think. Calum Basic with tunerpro, rom editor, nds, and the new nds datalogging ftmfw...haha.

I went ahead and got a n2mb wot box with a 2 step to take care of launch control.
