Yup its an awesome standalone, I was fiddling with mine and it will be fun. It is going to be interesting to see how my learning curve will be on tuning the next few weeks.

Keep us posted...since you will be up and running before me share some info as I will do when I am up running...

IMo the aem ems is the best choice for stand alone if you really wanna be legit and make power, other tuning managments are good, but they arent up to par with the aem ems, now thats noto to say that there arent better ems than aem ie: haltec, motec, ect but none of them are as easy to install and setup

the EMS so far seems to be very intuitive. got it installed swapped over to speed density and started in like 3-4 hrs. you turbo guys might have it a little bit harder time tuning than i. i am only a NA VE at this time.

personally i havent had ALOT of hands on tuning with the iginiton as much as i have started expieremnting and leanring the tuning on the fuel, but even with turbo and a good wideband hooked up and calibrated to the aem ems, street tuning is very easy and straight forward as far as fuel goes, the ignition i feel is a little bit more tricky to tune on the street than on the dyno as the dynos you can see a direct change in dyno to iginition power ratios.

i started to learn how to tune my car after a few shops tuned it with little sucess and the reason being is beucase i think alot of shops take advantage of the aem ems unit and charge a ton to tune it while getting meak into the actual system calibrations so nissan if you are going to have them tune it make sure its a legit shop
