question about aem 3.5 bar map placements
today i was replacing some hoses and i did have the map sensor hooked up to the back of the manifold on about 1'' of hose so it was basicly right up on the manifold. and i decided to replace the hose and put about 5 inches of hose.
i noticed that when i had the map sensor right up on the manifold the idle would be real bouncy and irratic with the 1'' of hose.
now the idle is more steady and calm.
is this because the map sensor isnt as close to the manifold and seeing the consistant irratic air differences, verses it being up off the manifold on its own line its getting more of a steady air reading.
if that doesnt make sense i was trying to put it into words what i meant lol
but for what its worth it did make a differnece in the way my car idle/ran and rev i donno thats all i changed tho
could lengthening the line make a difference like that
