Thread: N60 Maf Issue with My fix

ok well last week a installed a VE in a b13 ser. the setup is a ve with n1 cams N60 maf stock inj. the intake pipe is a 3" pipe and were using the budget header from Snickers. Calum basic board is the ECU control. when we first got the car running and warmed up i was having some small idle hunting issues where it would bounce a few hundred RPMs and light throttle would have a split second of hesitation. well turns out at idle with this setup the car would only pull .98-1.04 volts. the basic VE tune from calum had the maf set with a min V of 1.00. when the car would hit that the ecu would do some funky stuff. i was able to lower the V min to .7 and we have no more bounce at idle.i had to fix the K value so under light load with the O2 off we would get a consistent 14.7 and now the car no longer has any idle issues and no more hesitation off idle or light load. i hope this info might help some people who have small issues with the N60 maf on there VE's or other sr20's.
