Nistune vs. Tunerpro rt
Just curious how many people use either/or, and their impressions of each. I would also like some input from people who have used both. I'm kinda up in the air as to which to use, but leaning toward the Nistune software in the calumrt ecu.

Thanks Ken.

im in love with nistune... i believe its the best software out now...

i find tuner pro a bit over complicated... as i am usually unsure if my changes have been saved. and other wise the layout is cumbersome... nistune displays the info with much more simplicity

Nistune is TITS! SOOOOOOOO much better than TPRT. I was AMAZED when I first saw it in action. Thought Pete was using Hondata on my ECU at first lmao

Nistune is awesome, but there are some issues with it and the b14 calum realtime... nothing that can't be worked around, but just not perfect. I've talked to Matt and he is very responsive.

This is what I was expecting to hear. I looked it over last night and was pretty amazed at the simplicity compared to tunerpro.

So you all say it's worth the money?

Do you know what kind of issues? Care to share?

Thanks for all the responses guys.

I know exactly the issues, but they are inconsistent.

The basic issue is communication with the calum RT and the address file.

I use the P10 G20 REV 2 512k address file and it works fine except occasionally I will have a corrupt upload for some reason (seen it twice, reupload and everything is fine). If I use the b14 sr20 512k address file it works fine for the maps, but the consult does not work correctly. Matt (Nistune) says that I am using the "wrong" bins. I have used the bin I personally pulled off the ecu, a JWT bin, bins from calum, and bins from the community... I see the same issue with ALL of the bins.

So how does the car react with a corrupt file? Do you get an alert, or message telling you it's corrupt?

Thanks for the input. Looks like I'm going to shell out the money. Thanks guys.

Car just wouldn't run. After it got done with starting up it would die.

Also fans kick on when you turn key to on position.
