Basic - RT
Hey guys, I'm not too good with ecus and such. I have a question though, i have a basic calum daughter board and my friend has a calum RT. Now i was wondering, he has a real nice tune on his RT so i was wondering if he can burn it on to my basic? Or is this two totally different things? im not really sure how this would work any input would be great thanks guys!

Unless he has a chip burner it wont work that easily.

You might need to send that tune to Calum, and he should be able to burn it to a chip that you will have to physically install into your ecu.

You are correct sir.... there is no difference between RT and basic.. bin is a bin. with the exception that you cannot interchange b13 and b14 bins. Although for b14 you can make a obd2 to obd1 setdown adapter.

Less emissions and OBDII related stuff.

Maybe easier to find bins, I got my bins from calum and modified them from there.
