DOH! The whole Metric vs Standard always gets me

I corrected it, yeah having it at 85*F would mean the car would be room temperature and the fans will come on

I haven't had any real cooling issues since the incident on my trip down to the convention (apparently an air pocket after the swap ). At 60mph or so it would stay right around 170. However, in stop and go traffic it would climb to 215 or so. It would hover right at 210-215 as the fans kept it from overheating, but it wouldn't really cool back down until I got moving again. This is in mid 70's btw.

I tried out the new bin. I set everything at 82*C (180F). The car ran very cool all day, even in stop and go traffic. I'm curious how I'll do in the summer with AC.

I'm not sure if I have any more air pockets, looks like it's all bled out by now.

But the fans definitely help out , I don't think I can safely run AC in the summer...

Alright I tried to get the fan temps into the XDF.

I created a new Constant with the following settings:

Title: 531B - Fan Temp
Address(Hex): 531B
Size: 8 bit

That gave me a value of 201. Which looked kinda accurate until I compared to other bin files. Which it seems to stay the same haha.

I'm getting my hex number from here:

Moving the hard coded radiator fan control parameters out of the code section and into the constants section in the bin, with XDF support, is on the list of features for the first release of TunerCode firmware.

Cheers,
Dave
