That's a good idea, I'll research on how to modify the XDF file with the right information.

I've looked over the EC section a bit, but never cover to cover, maybe my next project

Read it, it's describing how your engine management system works.

Read the original thread on the fan stuff-

ECCS • View topic - A/C Fan turn on temperature

I posted a partial disassembly of the B14 code here-

Index of /calumsu/disassembler/B14SR

Just hunt through it and you'll find the same fan stuff. You'll see there's a bunch of different settings- not all are actually used, it's got the code in there to run the fans for an auto tranny car. Check the FSM, those have a really complicated fan routine. If your lucky the above disassembly is based of your current bin, use a hex editor and find out. That makes generating the XDF cake.

Hmm that's interesting! Might take me a bit to catch on because I'm not too familiar with that kind of stuff, and all depends on how much time I can spend on researching it .

What's the name of your bin? Is it one I supplied? Post it or the name and I'll do it for you.

OK, 100*C would be 212*F, so is that the only one I want to mess with?

But might help other folks

I noticed that when I lowered the last one to be 190* it still didn't seem to kick on until 200*F.

SO I set all of mine to 85*C and it seems to be working great, most of the time it doesn't get past 195*F on a stop light! Now The only thing I am worried about is overloading the fans/system

Well, setting them on at 85*F they are definitely going to be on all the time. Perhaps all of them at 180*F or so? I'd really rather know what each one does though.

That's probably the speed dependent temps?

The last one was the one that came out to be around 210*F thus I first adjusted it to kick on at 190*F, but it only kicked in at 200*F thus I set them all to be 185*F hehe.

Oh, you've got a typo up there. You said 85*!
